Product Profile: Bayer Advanced Tree & Shrub Insect Control

Brought to you by the same people that make the Aspirin, Bayer has introduced an insect control product that is systemic (taken up internally by the plant), applied as a drench and lasts for 12 months. No longer do you have to spray repeatedly to kill insects that attack your plants and possibly harm beneficial insects. Simply mix the product with water and apply the determined amount based upon the size of the plant directly on the ground around the root zone. When using garden chemicals, always read and follow the label instructions carefully.

This product is labeled to kill: Adelgids, Aphids, Black Vine Weevil Larvae, Roundheaded Borers (including Eucalyptus Longhorned Borers), Flathead Borers (including Bronze, Birch and Alder Borers), Japanese Beetles (adult), Lacebugs, Leaf Beetles (including Elm Leaf Beetles and Viburnum Leaf Beetles), Leafhoppers, Leafminers (including Birch Leafminers), Mealybugs, Pine Tip Month Larvae, Psylids, Royal Palm Bugs, Sawfly Larvae, Scale (including Armored Scale [suppression] and Soft Scale), Thrips and Whiteflies.
